Nacho Padres: Elevating Tex Mex Dining Experience in Spring, TX

Great unique selection of Tex Mex favorites and few surprises. They have specials Monday to Thursday that are a great value. Staff is super attentive and never let us run out of water or drinks. Beef Fajitas are really the only ‘a little pricey’ thing. The rest of the menu is on par with most middle priced Tex Mex joints. There a lot space and semi-outdoor area.

Came sunday night to eat dinner here , even though it was late like a hour before closing they still served us and treat us wanted and welcome with no rushing us to leave. Food was delicious, we tried the quesabirrias, tacos, and torta. Also there hibiscus water (jamaica) is soo good! and their pricing is reasonable and importantly food is delicious and a atmosphere was a vibe !

I was so looking forward to trying Nacho Padres. I wanted to try the tortilla soup. I was very underwhelmed, unfortunately. It was too salty, very acidic, and not very flavorful. The fish tacos were flavorful and the green enchiladas were good. Our server wasn't very attentive, we waited a long time for our order to be taken. And for our food to come out. Our queso arrived after our main dishes, and our chips weren't refilled in a timely manner. Compared to other small restaurants, and big chains ....where my chips and salsas are refilled before I can even empty the first basket! I probably will not go back, I'm sorry to say.

Upscale Tex Mex with a deft’s touch is the draw at Nacho Padres. Excellent grilled meats like the unique fajitas (dry rubbed, not marinated), solid Tex Mex favorites, and a few surprises (killer burger at happy hour) keep us coming back.

Came here for Taco Tuesday and loved it. Came back a 2nd time this week, which I NEVER do. The food is awesome - excellent tastes, not stereotypical Tex-Mex you find everywhere else. They designed a really tasty menu. Service was great! Well staffed and perfectly attentive. Atmosphere is really cool too. They have really good drinks too. 10/10 I hope they keep doing what they’re doing.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was delicious. I left everything on the taco that came with it and normally I don’t. I did change from beef to chicken because I like chicken fajita better. I loved the salsas, both of them were good! Definitely check them out

To start they didn’t have enough chips and salsa to offer to all the tables and I wasn’t even busy. Drinks are not good. I got the tamarind margarita and it’s way too sweet. Flauntas and the chicken fajitas were ok. Tortillas were undercooked. Torta was also. Over all I don’t think I’ll be back. Even though Abigail I think was the waitress name did and amazing job.

Great date night! Awesome house margaritas, Large portion plates, enough to share. Tasty green sauce with chips. And the hardest working bartenders, shout out to the ultimate hustler Mitchell, who made cocktails for hours straight, and our bartender/server Mars who didn’t miss a beat! Great curated playlist. And from 5-9 a great 30 plus and family crowd! Welcome to the neighborhood Nacho Padres!
